Immunizations

All four of our pharmacist team members are certified to administer immunizations. The main two immunizations we offer are the yearly influenza (flu) vaccine and the Zostavax (shingles) vaccine.

Influenza vaccine

We offer the yearly influenza (flu) vaccine for $20 – whether you have prescription insurance or not. You can stop in and receive this immunization without making an appointment!

For more information on the flu and why the vaccine is helpful, you can visit the CDC’s information page: CDC Flu Fact Sheet

For more specific information on the flu vaccine, visit the following CDC pages: Influenza Vaccine Information Statement   Key Facts About Seasonal Flu Vaccines

Shingles vaccine (Zostavax)

We also offer the Shingles vaccine, which requires a prescription from your doctor. This immunization is a one-time vaccine recommended for adults aged 60 and older. We can bill your insurance for this immunization, so you should first check to see if it will be covered by your plan. If you have questions about this, our staff can help you find this information. Medicare plans and the majority of private prescription insurance plans will cover at least a portion of the cost of Zostavax.
